Friendship Breakfast

Start George Washington’s Day in style, meet special guests, and enjoy a hearty breakfast with members of this historic association. Witness the first appearance of the day of Gen. and Lady Washington and hear a talk by our distinguished speaker, Capt. Eugene “Red” McDaniel.

Witness the first appearance of the day of Gen. and Lady Washington and hear from our distinguished speaker, Capt. Eugene “Red” McDaniel. He is a Living Legend of Alexandria and a combat veteran who served in Vietnam and was held as a POW for six years. When he came home, he resumed active duty serving as Commanding Officer of the USS Niagara Falls and the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. He later served as Director of Navy/Marine Corps Liaison to the U.S. House of Representatives before retiring from the Navy in 1982.

Event tickets are $40 each ($400 for a table of 10) and are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased online via http://bit.ly/FriendBKFST. Payment may also be mailed to Friendship, P. O. Box 22505, Alexandria, VA 22304.

Only Valet Parking is available at the hotel at a reduced price of $12; other self-service parking lots and limited on-street parking is available in the vicinity.
